Starting XI:
Marc Ogé made a very small change compared to the previous alignments with the return of Néhémie Sainvilus in place of Pierreline Nazon.
In the first period the "tricolors" created numerous chances but came up against goalkeeper Kimberlie Prince. Finally in the 34th minute Dana Sandoval opened the scoring for Mexico [1-0]. Score unchanged at half-time.
Returning from the locker room the "Tricolor" won, scoring 3 goals in 14 minutes, our Grenadières helpless only watched the Mexican team play... Abril Fragoso scored on a free kick in the 54th minute [2-0] followed by Dafne Sánchez three minutes later in the 57' with a left foot strike [3-0] and at 67' Djoulissa Pierre scored a goal against her own camp [4-0] in a really difficult end to the match for Haiti.
Severely defeated [4-0] by the "tricolor" of Mexico, our Grenadières U17 finished second in the general ranking of Group A and will face the winner of Group B in the evening Canada or the United States (match which will be played this Tuesday 6 February 2024 at 1:00 p.m.).
